The application form for The Higgs and Cooper Educational Charity is Available Here. You can print the form and send it to the Clerk at the address below, or attach the form to an email.
The trustees meet four times a year, normally in the first weeks of March, June, September and December. Applications for grants must be with the clerk no later than two weeks before the meeting at which they are to be considered. Applications will not normally be considered between meetings.
The next meetings are:
10 June 2026 (applications by 27 May)
2 September 2026 (applications by 19 August)
2 December 2026 (applications by 18 November)
We require two references, which should be provided to the Clerk at the same time as the application. One of these references should written by someone who knows you “professionally” – that’s someone like one of your teachers or lecturers, or a responsible adult associated with the group, institution or activity for which you’re seeking support. The other should be a personal reference from someone who has known you for a number of years – this should not a family member.
